Google Chrome Flash Plugin and Player

Adobe Flash Player is directly integrated with Google Chrome. So all available version of Flash Player updates gets automatically loaded with Google chrome system updates.
Well, if a user wants to run Flash Player on any other browser like Windows or Firefox etc, he has to download the available version of Adobe Flash Player for that particular browser.

Google Chrome Flash Plug-in

Chrome and Google have officially launched the non-NAPI version of Flash Player for the Chrome users.
A user just needs to add a command, enable-internal-flash after installing the basic set up. Just do that and enjoy the ultimate magic.

Chrome Flash Block

Basically, Chrome Flash block is an extension that blocks all Adobe Flash Player contents to get loaded. However, it leaves placeholders on the webpage so that users can get to see the Flash content later by clicking on it.
The Chrome Flash Block is available in several versions like 1.2.11. 10, 1.2.11, 1.2.11.3 and 1.2.11.4 etc.
The supported whitelist for Chrome Flash Block 1.2.11.10 is (press Ctrl+Shift+F for adding a site) and saving flash/flash-video on Ctrl+Click.
It currently blocks the following Flash contents:
  • Macromedia Flash
  • Macromedia Shockwave
  • Macromedia Authorware
  • MS Silverlight

Chrome Flash Player

As we have already discussed, Flash Player is integrated with Google Chrome. So there is no requirement of downloading latest versions of Flash Player as Chrome automatically loads the available updates of Flash.
