Priyanka Chopra is the Most Dangerous Celebrity

Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra
Take that Mogambo, there are new villains in town. :) A new research conducted by computer security brand McAfee has brought up some interesting results! The organisation decided to find out who’s the most dangerous celebrity online – as in, which celebrity name is most used by cybercriminals to take advantage of those people who seek more information about their idols. These cybercriminals use the celebrity’s name along with keywords such as ‘wallpapers’, ‘videos’ and ‘nude pictures’ to attract people to malware-ridden sites. And this year, Priyanka Chopra topped the list of celebrities, with 79 infected results in her name.
The others include:
Most Dangerous Celebrities 2013
Most Dangerous Celebrities 2013
Interestingly enough, this brought up a point: men are more dangerous than women! Priyanka, Kareena and Sunny were the only women to make it to the top 10. Also, Katrina, Bipasha, Deepika and Aishwarya all dropped out of this year’s list – last year they were 2nd, 5th, 7th and 9th respectively.

Simple Audio (Wav/MP3) Editings with Audacity

How many times you end up with a music track that you just want to trim a portion out of it? You might first question which tool to use, and how to get it done. There are numerous tools out there to do this kind of stuff, and even more than that. Most of them cost money, but you can also find some freeware that do the job as well.
Luckily, I've found a freeware that let me edit audio tracks and save them as MP3 and some other formats, it's called Audacity. So go get a copy for yourself and try it, I believe it's all you need to do some simple audio editing tasks.

Once you download and install the Audacity, launch it and you'll see something similar to this:

Then follow the steps below
  1. Open the audio file (Wav or MP3) (File > Open). The file shows up as follow, note that this sample file has two audio channels (stereo), so you'd see two rows of wave signal.

  2. You can play the file from the beginning by selecting the Play button, or you can select a starting point by clicking the mouse on the wave signal then click Play. While the audio is playing, the cursor moves indicating the position of the wave signals being read.
  3. To cut an unwanted portion of the audio, simply play the file and identify the start and end points of the wave signal you want to cut. Then click and drag the mouse to highlight this portion and click on the scissors button to cut.

  4. To add a fade-in at the beginning of the file, click and drag the mouse to select a portion at the beginning of the audio wave. Then select Effect from the top menu and select Fade in.

  5. Similar to fade-out, select a portion of the wave at the end and select Fade Out from the menu.
  6. To adjust the volume of the entire audio file: Edit > Select > All, then Effect > Amplify. Then adjust the volume with the slider and click OK, don't forget to check the box Allow Clipping

  7. You can also adjust the volume for just a portion of the audio file by select and drag the mouse to highlight the portion then use the Amplify menu.
  8. Once you're done editing, save the file as Wav or MP3: File > Export As WAV or Export As MP3.
Download Audacity : Click Here

How to Write Good Stories: Tips and Tricks For The Beginning Content Writer

If your writing skills are good enough and you are considering building a career out of content writing or ghost even, you might find yourself in the troubling position of spending two or three hours on a average six hundred words article. Which is not bad, if your value in life is to focus on quality rather on quantity – basically to distinguish yourself from the other farm – writers out there who had the same idea for their future careers. But in a cost-effective world, if you are good enough as a freelancer, you might find yourself not being able to respect all the deadlines and all your clients’ wishes and needs. If you were lucky enough to get hired by a guest posting writing services company, the amount of work is likely to overcome the speed of your fingers typing. You will be the slow one, or the one that doesn’t meet the criteria and your fabulous career in SEO or independent blogging might not see the desired outcome. So what do you do? Sacrifice content for quantity? Definitely not! Stir your wheel to more shallow approaches? Definitely not! So what do you do to write awesome content and many articles a day?

Tips and Tricks For The Beginning Content Writer

Choose your fields of interest
Content writers should be able to write anything about everything, but this doesn’t mean you have to be a scientist having deep knowledge on every possible subject. Find your best and most comfortable niches (which should be more than one, experts say) and develop them. Use your past college knowledge or even your personal hobbies and start working on them. Make a database with the best and updated information on a subject, read, and study and have them at hand. When you will need to write about a specific topic, you should know exactly where to look. Use high authority websites and even take notes about news and recent development in a field, they might be useful later. Having multiple niches at your fingertip is the best thing you could achieve: cross-referencing subjects and intertwining them allows you to be more creative, to draw inspiration more easily and to ease up the process of writing. Making analogies, being able to provide educated comparisons and interlinking different fields is one key to success in professional content writing.

Build a story starting from a general outline
Just as in creative writing, having an outline helps you save time. Before putting the words on the paper, you should know  what is the story’s subject, what are its main points, where do you want to lead your readers to. Give the story a purpose. Professional writers, just as novelists make up a story having only a vague idea and improvising along the way. This doesn’t mean that inside their heads they know nothing about what they are writing about. As a beginner content writer, your outline should include an introductory paragraph, configuring the premises, the general story and the goal, followed by the actual content. You already know it should be unique, original and highly informative so the next step and the hardest, is to provide that content.

Research
Many beginner writers lose themselves in this stage, spending a great amount of time cross – referencing the information they found, analyzing multiple sources, wanting to give their best. These are the hours that differentiate you from a prolific writer. What is to be done? First rule of journalism says to check your source and you can do it easily, because you already have an ever-growing database of resources you can verify and get inspired by. Next step is to permanently ask yourself the same question over and over again: what is this article about? Restrain your interest to the story’s subject and keep in mind that you are not working on a doctoral thesis. If you have to present five new business opportunities, do exactly that: present them, having in mind the person who reads the article. Is that information useful to them? Does it provide enough data for them to start searching on their own, if interested? Is the information presented in a logical, simple, attractive way? Will they bother to finish the article and read the conclusions? You will see that comments about business ethics stranded far away from your purpose to presenting the business, so you should know where to stop when developing on a subject.

Clear the mess at the end
Take a look to the beginning and look at what you are typing now: are you still on the subject? Does it still sound like having a purpose and is still loud, clear, informative and easy to read? If not, brush the text until it serves its real purpose. It may take you some extra – time, but once you become a little more skilled, you’ll end up doing it as it goes.

Writer’s block is only inside your head
It is true that even novel writers and professional content writers meet the so called “writer’s block”, when they don’t know where to begin and where to finish, what to write and how to sound like they are not completely bored. Many experts say that you should write no matter what. But in truth, you might end up with a messy article, showing your lack of mood and creativity and your complete disinterest in the subject. This doesn’t pay. If you experience the phenomenon, you should try to find your own methods to overcoming it. Some writers go for a walk, others read (inspiration comes from the most unexpected of places!), others take a break and do something else. You will be more efficient and your work quality will be higher if you take a break and come back in full force than making efforts to put some words on the paper, just because you have to.

The Top 10 Most expensive Painting in the World

Archimedes once famously said, “Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand and I’ll move the world”. He did. And  for the records, he wasn’t really the only one that astounded the world, in the art world; we have people like Pablo Picasso, one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century, Edvard Munch, one of the greatest Norwegian painter who ever lived.
There are others which this post can’t possibly contain if I was to begin naming them. We have Vincent Van Gogh the Dutch painter, I also can’t end mentioning names without remembering Leonardo Da Vinci, the famous painter known for the extremely popular Mona Lisa painting which is rumoured to be worth a staggering 1billion US dollars.
But the reason these painters are well known and sort after today, wasn’t because they all came from rich homes, far from that, it was genuinely because of what they were able to accomplish with just a wild imagination and a paint brush.

And they, with just those two intrinsic things, have made paintings worth multi millions of dollars.
Below are 10 most expensive painting works wrought solely by their hands in today’s world -

1. The Card Players (1892-93) – Paul Cezanne

Amount– $259 million

This painting is among a series of 5 oil paintings famously created by the French post-Impressionist artist Paul Cezanne during 1890 – 1893. This painting titled, “the scream” is among the 4 series of masterpiece painted by the popular expressionist artist Edvard Munch around 1893 -1910. The artwork depicts a figure which seems to possess an agonized face which a surprise look against a mixture of an orange and fiery red sky.

The painting was precisely painted around 1941, during the time when the France nation was being occupied by the Nazis.

Dora Maar au Chat (1941) - Pablo Picasso

In 2005 – ‘06, the painting was bought in an auction for $95.2 million by an unknown art collector, which made it the 9th most expensive work of art in the world.

10. Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer II (1912) – Gustav Klimt

Amount – $87.9 million

This elegant long portrait is a 1912 masterpiece painted by Gustav Klimt. The woman in the portrait is the wife of rich industrialist Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer.
Her portrait was reportedly seized from their family house by the Nazis during the World War II. So after the world war, it was later made to rest in an Austrian museum.

Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer II (1912) - Gustav Klimt

Then In 2006, the family wanted to take possession of the portrait back and as you’d imagine, the Austrian museum refused to give the portrait back. And in January, 2006, this led to a long court case that ended in the Austrian museum handing over the portrait to the niece of Bauer.

The painting was later auctioned of at a whopping pay of $87.9 million to an art collector, and that deal made it the tenth most expensive paintings in the world.

Now, I’d have to end this post as they’re literally 100’s of other paintings that still exist which are also equally costly too.

So let me ask, out of the top ten lists I just made you scan, which picture was the best for you and which one did you think didn’t deserve the price tag.

Use the comment box below to let us know your answer; we’ll be expecting it.

Thanks for reading.
