Download Mozilla WaterFox For Windows

About Waterfox

Waterfox is a high performance browser based on the Mozilla Firefox source code. Made specifically for 64-Bit systems, Waterfox has one thing in mind: speed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:What makes Waterfox fast?
A:Waterfox was compiled with Intel's C++ Compiler with the following optimisations: Intel's Math Library, SSE3, AVX for supported Intel processors, jemalloc, Profile-Guided Optimisation and the /O3 switch.
Q:Do all my add-ons and plugins work?
A:Your add-ons/extensions work on any version of Firefox, on any platform! That means they all work with Waterfox. On the other hand, only 64-Bit plugins work with Waterfox and as of now those are: Adobe Flash, Oracle Java and Microsoft Silverlight.
Q:Why am I getting a missing .dll error?
A:If by chance you get this error, install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable and the Intel C++ Redistributable.
Q:Where do I report bugs?
A:If you find any bugs that you think are related to Waterfox only, report them in the Help section. If you think it's a bug relating to Firefox, then reproduce it on there and file a bug report to Mozilla.
Q:Why isn't my jumplist showing?
A:To get jumplists working, you must first run Waterfox and then pin the icon of the Waterfox process that is running on the taskbar.
Q:Why should I use a 64-Bit variant of Firefox?
A:64-Bit computing is the future! Any 64-Bit user will notice an instant increase in performance, but that is not the only advantage such as multi-tasking and improved stress handling.
